What I'm Thankful For

I’m writing an obligatory ‘things I’m thankful for’ post. I think it’s the first one I’ve done, so at least it will be new for me. I’m sure I’ll be adding to this list, but without further ado, here are the things I’m thankful for this year:(in no particular order)

  • My family, both near and far
  • Old friends- those who don’t know what the hell twitter is
  • New friends- friends who wonder how anyone doesn’t use twitter
  • New opportunities
  • My girlfriend, who probably deserves better some of the time
  • Knowing amazingly cool, smart people in Chicago
  • Jenn donating to my Movember fund (and for being a great friend)
  • Chris and Ryan for giving me a chance to rock out
  • My dog for loving me no matter how much I’ve yelled at him
  • People much smarter than me who I’ve been learning from for the past year and a half

    Me, I'm thankful for the fact that we all get to share the good times with one another. There's incredible value in the support we give one another in the navigation of Tough Times, but a holiday reminds us all that we're really just people looking to be friends.
