I bought a coffee mug for work yesterday so I wouldn’t have to use styrofoam cups each time I want a cup of joe. You’re welcome mother earth. You too, Starbucks.

With the “Tease Your Senses” event, Pallandrome is bringing green products and services to a new market - people who are not necessarily already interested in being “green”. Our mission with this event is not to preach to the choir, but rather show people that you can still have fun and look great, but be conscious of the small changes you can make with simple choices that can help make a difference in the health of the earth.
“Tease Your Senses” is a party sponsored by VeeV organic vodka on Thursday, October 23rd at NV Penthouse Lounge from 7-10pm. A few green or holistic focused businesses will come and showcase their products or services in a fun, festive ambiance. Enjoy complimentary cocktails and more for a $10 cover charge to benefit TreeCago.
Its too bad these aren’t available yet, because these are so cool. Glad someone had the thought of mind to bring design to something so overlooked, yet important. These bulbs, dubbed Plumen- made by London based boutique electronics company Hulger, have yet to go to mass production. Hopefully they get produced soon and are able to keep prices somewhat attainable for normal folks. The beauty follows:



In honor of getting hired by an eco-friendly company, I’ve decided to start sharing some green-related thoughts and items I come across on the web.
That said, it was only a matter of time before the world’s first sustainable dance club opened. Named Watt, the club utilizes LED lights, rainwater collection and waterless urinals. Most impressive- the dance floor itself. The LED floor transfers techno-happy dancer’s kinetic energy into power. How cool! Unfortunately, we Americans are out of luck- Watt is located in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
