Obviously I'm slowing catching up on everyone, but I wanted to say that I'm honored to have been included as an inspiration, and more importantly to say that you're capable of huge, huge things. I was offered roles at companies like Edelman, and although never officially approached by their team I think the people we know there represent the quality of their culture and insight. I talk about Edelman in Vancouver constantly.

You are a talent, my friend, and a firm like that was lucky to have you briefly. A new firm is even luckier, and you've made a decision that demands diligence. Small, new firms face uphill battles and require the people within them to rally hard. You can make a difference and that means you need to drive your intuition into productive endeavors. Push limits and build your community. Reach out and leverage your relationships. Think ahead and outsmart your competition.

Leave no room for regret. And make something you're proud of.

@Tim: Thanks Tim! I also looked at you're life and how happy you are running Beyond the Pedway as inspiration.

@Doni: You're right; either situation would have been great. I really struggled with the decision for a while because it sure was difficult justifying leaving a place like Edelman. Glad to see you're doing so well out in CO!

@Caitlin: Thank you so much. I definitely wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for you. Can't wait to see what you end up doing next.

@Allie: Thanks! I felt a little easier about my decision knowing you did basically the same thing just a few months ago. As far as Jelly, I absolutely plan on stopping by sometime. I'm a big fan of co-working in general and having a familiar face there would be great.

@David: You'd make a fine mayor of Edelman! I'm really glad to have gotten to meet you and learn from you, even if it was for just a short period of time.
