Well it took over 9 months, countless hours spent browsing online job sites and listings, and even a handful of interviews, but I finally landed a gig. I will be working part-time (for now) for GreenWerks, an eco-friendly contractor and remodeler based in Chicago. The best part- I’ll be doing what I have become so involved in and passionate with the past 8-9 months or so. I’ll be involved with the SEO/SEM management for the company’s site, as well as getting some work in maintaining the blog and creating a social media presence.

I’m so excited, because I get to do SEO, blogging and social media- all things that I love. Not to mention working for a company that not only does eco-friendly work, but is eco-friendly itself. GreenWerks will soon be a carbon-neutral company- how cool!

My first day is next Thursday and I will give a full rundown of how my day went!
