As one amazing Olympics has come to a close, I am focusing on the potential of another amazing Olympic games- right here in Chicago. I’m going to be volunteering in upcoming events representing the Chicago 2016 bid, and hopefully will get to volunteer some time as a marketing communications volunteer. There are a lot of concerns if Chicago gets the games, such as higher taxes- but I think the overall benefit for the city will far outweigh the few negatives. I think the Beijing games are proof of that.
