About BZ

Hi, I’m Brandon. I’ve spent the last few years completely immersed in internet marketing. I broke onto the scene with GreenWerks and then WeSeed (Peak6), which led to an opportunity to learn the ropes and get big agency, Fortune 500 exposure at Edelman Digital. During this time, I created Chicago Tweetups as a passion project. It allowed me to connect with the local social media community for the better part of two years. I eventually sold Chicago Tweetups at the beginning of 2012.

After my stint at Edelman, I decided to join Lakeshore Branding in a internet marketing coordinator/project manager role. I wore many hats during my time there, and got exposure to social media strategy, execution, and management. I got experience as project manager on a number of projects, from small website rehabs, to a full-blown e-commerce development effort. I was able to collaborate with designers, developers, various vendors, and clients.

For the past year and a half, I’ve been with a trio of companies, though I never really left my job. I started as SEO Specialist for Norvax, which essentially rebranded under GoHealth earlier this year. In June, our team was spun off into a separate agency called Loud Interactive. On paper, it might look like I’ve bounced around three jobs recently, but I really haven’t at all. If anything, I think I’ve gone through an unusual amount of change and general lack of stability in the past year or so, and I think I’m a stronger person because of it.
