A New Beginning

November
2009 has been a rough, but successful year for me. I lost an uncle, grandfather and my girlfriend lost her grandmother. I lost two jobs, and my dad’s business has suffered under the recession. But on the bright side, 2009 was still a solid year in most respects. The girlfriend and I finally moved in together, she recently got a new job at an awesome hospital, I’ve networked very well and met amazing people who I’m glad to call friends now, and the reason for this post; a new job.
I’m officially announcing here on my blog that I’m joining the world famous Edelman in the digital group in an internship role. And know this: I don’t plan on staying an intern for long. I’ll be kicking ass and taking names to prove my worth in the first three months of my role, working across multiple disciplines within the company. I start on Monday the 23rd.
I’m ridiculously excited to be joining an outstanding team here in Chicago that consists of Blagica Bottigliero, Amanda Mooney, Allie Osmar, Jessica Braun, and others that I have yet to meet.
2010 is looking pretty bright now
