Had a pint of the new Budwiser American Ale tonite. I’ve been waiting for a while for this one to come out, and the wait was worth it. I don’t really drink ales too often, although I could see myself drinking American Ale somewhat regularly. The new offering from Bud has a very nice dark orange/red color, and can’t be confused for anything other than an ale. It does have some sweetness to it, however- tasted like some caramel sneaked in the glass. Not a beer to get drunk off, but definitely great for relaxing or with a meal. Good job, Budweiser.

Finally got to try Red Bull Cola this weekend. My thoughts? RC in a fancy can. Granted, it’s really cool that it uses all natural ingredients. I don’t drink soda very often as it is, so I probably won’t be drinking too much RBC. RBV though, that’s good stuff.

Take a look at the ‘Latest News’ page from Ad Age yesterday. Nearly half the stories are downers, and I can’t remember a time seeing so many negative stories at one time on Ad Age. Trying to be optimistic and positive! Just sharing this… I’ll make sure my next post is positive!
